Where to start with this fantastic bit of kit.I spent hours searching for a half decent bench but each time i found one that may fit the bill it was either extortionately priced or out of stock.All I originally was after was a folding bench, then I came across this Bodyrip dual system. Decent looking sturdy bench with a squat rack and curling attachment with preacher station as well??I had been looking at another well known brand name from the US which in essence was the same package and it was double the price.I was tempted to give Bodyrip a try but warey of a recent purchase I made that turned out to be very disappointing and misleading with its advert. (Not a Bodyrip product).The item arrived in 2 cardboard boxes, which if I'm honest were quite badly damaged, however this was clearly down to the courier not the seller. The boxes were heavy duty cardboard and quite heavy so somewhat cumbersome for people to handle.I was quite concerned given the state of the boxes but on opening them was very surprised by the contents.Firstly how heavy duty the parts were and even the bits that were purtruding from the damaged boxes were damage free.The heavy gauge of the tubular framing had withstood the transport with ease.I layed all the component parts out on the floor first to inspect them and found every single piece damage free.I was taken back at the quality of the sections and my apprehension soon disappeared about the quality over price concerns I had.I was really impressed just looking at the components on the floor and couldn't wait to start assembling it.Assembly was straight forward, instructions nice and clear and took me around 2 hours to assemble on my own.This thing is insane!!!I've been working with weights and gym equipment for decades and never seen anything of this quality at this price before.Completely under rated item which does everything it claims and more.I'm over the moon with this purchase and now have a super sturdy bench and attachments to do a full body workout.The squat and press rack is a beautifully designed piece of equipment and it takes 150kg with ease and very little movement through the heavy duty frame. It's fully adjustable and has a safety bottom rack just in case you reach that last rep and can't get back up. Superb!Plus the 2 weight storage pins at the back of the frame are ideal for keeping my surplus weights off the floor and adds even more stability to the rack itself.. Very well designed and construction is top notch.I was a bit scepticle about the leg curling attachment as I've had these in the past and they have been all but useless. This one actually works. The only small issue being it's not adjustable so may not fit every leg length but for me it suits my 6ft frame fine.The preacher station also works nicely with just one small gripe, it hits the bottom of the preacher pad before you have a chance to make a full contraction. Having said that it still manages to blow your arms up like balloons, again very happy with design of this as it's handle is shaped perfectly to avoid smashing your teeth in each time you being the bar up to your face, nice one Bodyrip. And also it has a quick release pin for removing the curl attachment so it's not in your way when not in use. Same goes for the preacher pad.All in all I'm seriously impressed with this item and the strength of the bench itself. I feel well planted no matter what the weight I'm using and feel secure while exercising. I really can't rate this bench and squat rack highly enough.One point to bare in mind if you do decide to purchase this item, you will need a 6ft straight bar at minimum to fit between the squat rack stands. I have 5ft bars and they aren't quite long enough.I've been using this every other day for 2 months now without issue and can't help looking back at it as I leave the room with a smile on my face. :o)
